While I think he's kind of like another psychopath at this school I can see him just being another kuudere as well. We know how emotionless he can be and it makes him seem very uncaring and with his past thrown in there we can also likely see a glimpse at his motives and why he's the way he is and reverted to cutting ties once again and keeping out of the spotlight. Though I also think he holds up to his agreements and for Kei this was to help her against any bullying.

Studied psychology in university. Sociopath does not exist and is made up by people who don't know any psychology at all. The word most people that don't know what the real word is is narcissist which is a symptom that is part of Psychopathy as well.

He doesn't at the start, but interacting with people has opened him up some. Innocent souls like Airi Sakura he's protective of, and has no intention of using them like a tool, unlike others. As for Kei, well, you'll learn soon enough.
